I really like this New Eternia action figure line from Mattel. At this time, as far as i know, there is only He-Man, Skeletor, and Beast Man available in stores. Who is your favorite New Eternia figure? What Masters Of The Universe figure are you hoping to see soon?
I found a good deal on a few Masters Of The Universe Origins figures so I decided to make some custom action figures. These ones are heavily inspired by the Mondo action figures that were released a few years back.
The smaller finished He-Man figure in the middle is about 8” high.
I just thought I would share some of my progress on these 3D printed 12” Masters Of The Universe action figures. These came out with a lot of layer lines so I have used a lot of filler, sand paper, and resin, but in the end they are stating to look pretty good. Let me know what you think.
I messed up the eyes😁 Definitely need a fine brush for these details.
Images are from the Mattel 2021 Analyst virtual meeting. I’m guessing the figures in the first image are from Kevin Smith’s Masters Of The Universe Revelation and the second image is from the CGI He-Man which is more of a reboot. Maybe?
This challenge was to do a Masters Of The Universe Cereal box, this was heavily influenced by the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cereal box. I went with a more cartoonish look to the characters and of course included a free prize.

Last year Hasbro rereleased the original Kenner Real Ghostbusters action figures and not only did I preorder a set but I also went out and purchased a set because you can never have too many. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with the extras but last night I decided to open them and compare them to the originals I got when I was a kid.

The figures on the right are the 2020 rerelease, the ones to the left are from the original 80s toy line. Some of the figures I have painted the collars, straps, and belts.
Other than the obvious dirt and grime build-up they are almost identical to the originals. The only real difference I can see is the plug that connects the Proton Pack to their backs, it is now just a round peg that fits in snugly and I think it’s an improvement.
The opening of the figures was a fun experience with some warm and fuzzy flashbacks to when I was a kid and the carded figures look great on my wall.
Week 90 of the #MOTUdrawingchallenge was Galactic Guardian He-Man (New Adventures Of He-Man), so I thought I would post some of my past pictures. The first was an idea I had after reading some of the early concepts for NAOH where they described a ship blasting out of Castle Grayskull. The second is He-Man, the third is He-Man and Flipshot, and the final is He-Man vs Skeletor. You can find MOTU Drawing Challenge on Twitter using the hashtag #MOTUdrawingchallenge.
I found Panthor at Target this afternoon and I had to post a few pictures of the figure as well as the amazing box art. Almost every side of this box has a picture on it. I especially love the picture of Fisto with a random centaur looking creature that I hope they eventually make into a figure. For only $24.99 this was more than worth it and I am glad that Target and other places are selling them and not just Walmart. My only issue is that with such cool looking box art is that I will be up to my ears in packaging that I can’t bring myself to throw away.
