Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Custom Action Figures

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012) Shadows
Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The TMNT 2012 figures were made from bootleg Revoltech figures that were dyed black, they are supposed to look like the Turtles in the shadows from the opening credits of the show.
The Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figure were made from storage Rise shell figures, they are wearing the Hamato Clan outfits from episode 25 Insane in the Mama Train.

Mozar & Utrom Custom Action Figures


 A friend commissioned me to make some figures from the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. The Utrom figures were just repainted from pink to blue but Mozar, like Slash, was made from a silicone mold that was soaked in mineral spirits. Much like Slash, most of Mozars limbs had to be completely recreated. What do you think?

Slash Custom Action Figure

A friend commissioned me to make some figures from the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. The second figure I finished was Slash, he is created with a silicone mold that was soaked in mineral spirits to increase its size and then resin cast. This process is rather difficult and I had to build the hands and spikes from scratch. What do you think?

Leatherhead Custom Action Figure

A friend commissioned me to make some figures from the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. The first one I finished was Leatherhead, he is completely 3D printed, but things like his teeth come out underwhelming so they needed to be fixed. Oh yeah and he is bigger. Way bigger. What do you think? Did it turn out okay?

I originally wasn’t a fan of the Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles design until I watched the cartoon. I love how they reinvented the characters and the animation is amazing. I can not wait to see the movie.

With so many people posting pictures of the new NECA Tokka and Rahzar figures, I felt inspired to draw. This is probably the first time I have drawn them since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze came out in 1991.
