Pre Halloween 3D Print, Samhain from the Real Ghostbusters cartoon

I made this resin 3D print of Samhain a while back and finally got it painted and detailed. Samhain was always one of my favorite villains from the Real Ghostbusters animated series, but I was always bummed that they never made an action figure. After decade I finally decided to make one myself.

Ghostbusters art over the years

Just like the title says, this is some of my Ghostbusters artwork from over the years. Looking at these I feel like I don’t really draw Ghostbusters as much as TMNT or MotU.

Proton Pack Rebuild

This is the rebuild of my original Real Ghostbusters style Proton Pack from 2016. I added metal to the Neutrino Wand some extra pieces to cover the base board on the pack. Also added remote control lights to the cyclotron and completely rebuilt the Ghost Trap. Aside from the 4 lights on the cyclotron the other glowing pieces are reflective tape and it looks great when someone uses a flash. Still a work in progress and I hope to add sound soon. Below is a video of the lights in action and the original pictures along with the movie style Proton Pack that I will rebuild soon.

Inktober 2017

Here is all the drawing I did for Inktober 2017. A handful of the smaller ones were done in pencil and pen in my 2.5″ x 4″ sketchpad that I use on break at work. The rest were done digitally at home. The final one I colored and has an obvious Halloween theme.
Looking forward to doing this again next year and maybe even following the prompts.

This cover was inspired by Fantastic Four #44 drawn by Jack Kirby.

Hoping everyone has a safe and fun Halloween this year. As a kid I used to always draw haunted houses with ghosts and monsters all around it, I guess this would be the adult version of that:D

New Ghostbusters figures

Check out these rad new Ghostbusters figure that I picked up at the local Toys R Us. Probably would not have noticed them because they were displayed face down on a lower shelf, but the green packaging caught my eye. I was originally looking for the Ghostbusters 2016 movie figures which were also very poorly displayed. The 2016 movie figures were a wee bit on the expensive side of $20, but these classic figure were only $12.99. I still plan on getting the new ones eventually and am really excited for the upcoming movie.

With close to twenty points of articulation, the new figures are multi-poseable to say the least. They also come with eight extra interchangeable hands, removable Proton Packs and belts, with walkie-talkie and blast stream that attaches to the end of the Neutrino Wand. Egon figure comes with PKE Meter and Ray figure comes with a Trap.

Now all I need is to find Winston and Ray.
