Guy Gardner Green Lantern

Guy Gardner Green Lantern

I was excited to see Nathan Fillion play Guy Gardner in the new Superman movie and he did not disappointed. He was a great casting choice and so entertaining. What did you think?

Ouija Board Coffee Table

I rescued this old busted-up table from someone’s garbage and decided to make it into an Ouija board. After painting it I coated it in clear resin and 3D printed a glow-in-the-dark planchette I found online. Now it’s resting in some strangers living room.

When asked if I believe the Ouija Board is real I said, “No.”
When asked if I would use it I said, “Oh, hell no!”

Superman

Superman

Unfortunately I didn’t get around to seeing Superman opening weekend, but I’m hoping to see it Tuesday afternoon if all goes well.

UPDATE: I watched Superman on Tuesday and it was awesome! Go see it, you will love it.

Faker. Again!

I decided to recustomize my custom Revelation Faker action figure. The original was dyed and hand painted, and look really cool, but I really wanted to see how it would look airbrushed with some shiny paint.

The final picture is the original custom faker that I made, there are more pictures in the Custom Action Figures section.

Custom He-Man & Battle Cat

He-Man & Battle Cat

This was just a simple repaint of the Masterverse He-Man and Battle Cat. He-Man’s armor is 3D printed along with his big-ass battle axe.

April O’Neil from Rise Of The TMNT

I was always annoyed that the Rise TMNT April O’Neil figure didn’t really look like the cartoon character so I made my own in Blender, 3D printed, and painted it.

Is it an improvement?

A few years back I got some of these Elite Ninja TMNT action figures with the intention of making customs and after several attempts I finally finished them.

I recently started using an airbrush to paint and I was able to get some nice tones on the chest shells and the green skin. I also used a metallic green to give the back shells that bright color.

There were a couple failed attempts at customizing these figures including hand painting (above), which I was so disappointed in that I just set them aside and forgot about them. I also airbrushed them and had to remove the paint when it started to peal teaching me why primer is so important.
So what is the verdict? Is this an improvement? Let me know what you think?
