I had to post some closeup pictures of this Michelangelo design I did. I used a basic Raphael scan I found online and altered it, adding in some board shorts, cutoff tee, headphones and tape deck, and fanny pack. Finished it off with a baseball cap, shades, and skateboard.

What do you think, is he ready for the beach?

Tokka and Rahzar

With so many people posting pictures of the new NECA Tokka and Rahzar figures, I felt inspired to draw. This is probably the first time I have drawn them since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze came out in 1991.

Custom Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures

These figures are made from the Playmates Ninja Turtles figures and are done in the style of the original Eastman & Laird comic book. Originally all the turtles had red masks.
Leonardo
These are mostly done in flat acrylic craft paints and model paints. The knee and elbow pads are made with Milliput sculpting putty.
Donatello
The belts and straps are all made from craft foam.
Michelangelo
The weapons are made from a combination of wooden dowels, toothpicks, and random plastic.
  • Ralph and Leo’s weapons have a lot of extra detail put into the handles.
Raphael
The headbands are made from real fabric to look like they are actually blowing in the wind.
  • Here is a shot with the original Playmate TNMT figures to the left.
They look pretty nice on the shelf with the rest of my figures.

Leatherhead

Wanted to draw Leatherhead and I figured April and Michelangelo might be an interesting team-up.

Inktober 2017

Here is all the drawing I did for Inktober 2017. A handful of the smaller ones were done in pencil and pen in my 2.5″ x 4″ sketchpad that I use on break at work. The rest were done digitally at home. The final one I colored and has an obvious Halloween theme.
Looking forward to doing this again next year and maybe even following the prompts.

This cover was inspired by Fantastic Four #44 drawn by Jack Kirby.

Hoping everyone has a safe and fun Halloween this year. As a kid I used to always draw haunted houses with ghosts and monsters all around it, I guess this would be the adult version of that:D

Turtle Shredder

Was thinking of drawing Sewer Samurai Leonardo but then decided to draw him as Shredder. Let me know what you think.

Leonardo Sketch

Started this sketch of Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles a few weeks ago and abandoned it until I found it while on vacation. Ninja Turtles are so fun to draw.
