Doctor Who, The 13th Doctor

Finally got around to drawing the new Doctor, although I must admit that it’s kind of weird trying to draw a character when you don’t really know much about them. With that said I am very excited about the new season and it sounds like everything will be new. My favorite thing about the Doctor regenerating is that you always feel like you are being stranded with a stranger that you have to get to know all over again. It’s weird and fun and a constant reminder that everything is always changing.

Inktober 2017

Here is all the drawing I did for Inktober 2017. A handful of the smaller ones were done in pencil and pen in my 2.5″ x 4″ sketchpad that I use on break at work. The rest were done digitally at home. The final one I colored and has an obvious Halloween theme.
Looking forward to doing this again next year and maybe even following the prompts.

This cover was inspired by Fantastic Four #44 drawn by Jack Kirby.

Hoping everyone has a safe and fun Halloween this year. As a kid I used to always draw haunted houses with ghosts and monsters all around it, I guess this would be the adult version of that:D

8th Doctor (DOCTOR WHO)

Paul McGann’s 8th Doctor is one of my absolute favorites thanks to audiobooks from Big Finish. If you haven’t listened to them yet, check them out now along with the rest of the Doctors. Tried to update the hair but keep it long, ended up looking more like the 1st Doctor’s. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

More pages from my virtual sketchbook!

I was working off of a couple pictures for this. Although I was really pleased with how they turned out they really don’t look like the people in the pictures. The first lady is Audrey Hepburn and the second is Anne Hathaway.

Sketch4
I was flipping through and X-Men comic from the 90’s and got the urge to draw Cyclops. The guy on the right is supposed to be Peter Capaldi, the new Doctor. And then there is Batman.
