Anime, art, and a little Batman

Recently I got really bored drawing the same old stuff so I decided to draw some anime characters. While doing this I tested out a new art technique I learned and played around with some of the many brushes in Adobe Fresco. I tested some of these brushes with some older MotU and Batman art.

He-Man

I’m jumping back into drawing after taking a few months off. I put little effort into the background, but I felt like drawing a hulking Conan the Barbarian type He-Man. I’m really trying something new on coloring, not sure how I fell about it, but it’s something.

Netflix She-Ra

Sketched and inked this a while back and forgot to post it on the website. I really love this new design for She-Ra for the new Netflix series. The art style looks really cool and I will definitely be checking it out.

He-Man (Masters Of The Universe Movie)

 

I was watching the Masters Of The Universe movie the other day and I did a quick drawing of the movie version of He-Man. 31 years and there are still no great pictures showing the designs on the armor. Also I hate the boots.

Enter Faker

This was an idea I had about Evil-Lyn, Beast Man, & Trap Jaw preparing to be yelled at by Skeletor for He-Mans escape, only to realize that Skeletor is not angry. Skeletor then reveals that he expected He-Man to escape, but when he was captive Skeletor made an evil robotic duplicate. The evil henchmen are then shocked as they are introduced to Faker.

Grayskull No More

Got this idea looking at the concept art for The New Adventures Of He-man in which one of the original ideas was to have a spaceship burst out of a crumbling Castle Grayskull.
