This challenge was to do a Masters Of The Universe Cereal box, this was heavily influenced by the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cereal box. I went with a more cartoonish look to the characters and of course included a free prize.

I did a picture of Cheetara and then made a collage of ThunderCats artwork for a Facebook and Twitter cover. You can find MOTU Drawing Challenge or ThunderCats Thursday on Twitter using the hashtag #MOTUdrawingchallenge or #ThunderCatsThursday.
Last year Hasbro rereleased the original Kenner Real Ghostbusters action figures and not only did I preorder a set but I also went out and purchased a set because you can never have too many. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with the extras but last night I decided to open them and compare them to the originals I got when I was a kid.

Winston Zeddemore
Egon Spengler

The figures on the right are the 2020 rerelease, the ones to the left are from the original 80s toy line. Some of the figures I have painted the collars, straps, and belts.
Other than the obvious dirt and grime build-up they are almost identical to the originals. The only real difference I can see is the plug that connects the Proton Pack to their backs, it is now just a round peg that fits in snugly and I think it’s an improvement.
The opening of the figures was a fun experience with some warm and fuzzy flashbacks to when I was a kid and the carded figures look great on my wall.
With so many people posting pictures of the new NECA Tokka and Rahzar figures, I felt inspired to draw. This is probably the first time I have drawn them since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze came out in 1991.
Week 90 of the #MOTUdrawingchallenge was Galactic Guardian He-Man (New Adventures Of He-Man), so I thought I would post some of my past pictures. The first was an idea I had after reading some of the early concepts for NAOH where they described a ship blasting out of Castle Grayskull. The second is He-Man, the third is He-Man and Flipshot, and the final is He-Man vs Skeletor. You can find MOTU Drawing Challenge on Twitter using the hashtag #MOTUdrawingchallenge.
SnowMan and SnowMeow are a perfect addition for a snowy day like today. I didn’t really change much on the SnowMan, but I did change SnowMeow into a snow leopard, just thought it was more fitting. Also included are the other 3 older ThunderCats pictures. You can find MOTU Drawing Challenge or ThunderCats Thursday on Twitter using the hashtag #MOTUdrawingchallenge or #ThunderCatsThursday.
I found Panthor at Target this afternoon and I had to post a few pictures of the figure as well as the amazing box art. Almost every side of this box has a picture on it. I especially love the picture of Fisto with a random centaur looking creature that I hope they eventually make into a figure. For only $24.99 this was more than worth it and I am glad that Target and other places are selling them and not just Walmart. My only issue is that with such cool looking box art is that I will be up to my ears in packaging that I can’t bring myself to throw away.
I always liked the idea of a great threat bringing both sides together, maybe that “great threat” would be the Goddess Tiamat, a character I created a few months back. It could be Spydor Wars or The Tiamat Saga? You can find MOTU Drawing Challenge on Twitter using the hashtag #MOTUdrawingchallenge.
